A super effective exfoliating treatment that uses a surgical blade to gently remove the top layer of dull, dead skin cells along with vellus hair (fine microscopic peach fuzz). The treatment removes the three-week build-up of dead skin cells that can block pores, often making skin dry and flaky, revealing a smoother, brighter complexion.
The many benefits of Dermaplaning include diminished fine lines, smoother, brighter complexion, improved skin texture and tone, temporary removal of fine peach fuzz hair and stimulation of collagen. Skin care products will also be more effective as they are not being blocked by a build-up of dead skin cells.
The treatment can be stand alone as an alternative to microdermabrasion or chemical peels. It can also be used alongside these treatments to enhance and boost results.
Dermaplaning is the perfect ‘special event’ facial for flawless makeup, it is also suitable during pregnancy

Does it hurt? : the procedure is painless, most people like the feeling.

How long does it take? : the procedure take between 20-50 minutes depending on which Dermaplaning treatment you choose,

Does the hair grow back thicker? : this is a myth, the hair will grow back the same as before. The only difference will be that rather than a naturally pointed end, the hair will be blunt.

How often should I have treatment? : it’s best to wait for the skin cycle to rejuvenate between treatments, between 3- 6 weeks.

What will I look like after treatment?: the skin maybe pink and will be more prone to sun exposure hence an SPF should be worn. The skin will look and feel much smoother and brighter.
