Deso Fat Dissolving Injections

Deso fat dissolving injections are suitable for patients with normal body weight or who are slightly overweight with stubborn, localized fatty deposits, which prove difficult to lose by diet or regular physical activity. A course of 3-4 treatments is recommended, spaced 6-8 weeks apart.  It takes 4 weeks for treated fat to dissolve and drain in the lymphatic system. Improvements can be seen after the first treatment, however, full results are generally seen after the 3rd or 4th treatment.

Deso offers two types of fat-dissolving injectable treatments, Desobody and Desoface containing the active ingredient sodium deoxycholate (deoxycholic acid) an FDA approved medical detergent. It works by inducing adipocytosis, damaging the cell membrane and liquifying the fat in the treatment area. The fat cells are permanently destroyed then broken down and removed naturally through the body’s lymphatic system.
